John Swope-President, CEO & CFO
John brings nearly three decades of financial experience as a former corporate assistant controller, international financial analyst, and sales account executive; he has served on boards of homeowners associations. His experience, business graduate courses and degree in Business Management, concentration accounting, brings a great understanding of HOA finances and the budgeting process. He is instrumental in helping communities plan their reserve schedules.
John is currently serving on the Duke Energy Focus Group that is convening to review and provide input into Duke Energy’s New Marina Conveyance Template for the Nantahla Area and Catawba-Wateree Hydroelectric Projects.
Karen Swope, CMCA, Vice-President, COO
Karen brings great customer service experience as former trainer for a national cosmetics firm and lead teacher of English at the secondary level. Her attention to the management of internal operations brings a high level of quality of service to our clients. Karen currently serves on the 2009-2010 North Carolina Recognition Committee of the NC Chapter of Community Associations Institute.
Staff:
CSI has six (6) senior community managers in addition to the principals, John and Karen Swope. All are members of the Community Associations Institute and receive continual on the job training and training through professional organizations such as Community Associations Institute
Our community managers are supported by the experience and guidance of CSI’s two principals, as well as Office Manager, Accounts Payable Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager, Assistant Community Manager, and administrative assistants.
